Student Loan Debt is Out of the Question

Student Loan Debt is Out of the Question. https://www.itsallaboutthemoney.net  How to avoid college debt. Learn what you can and must do to avoid student loan debt and still get a college degree.

What some people will do to get into college.

It is ironic that just as I start this blog about student loans, there was a scandal in the news. While I worry about college debt, celebrities in California are paying individuals at universities lots of money so their children would be accepted into a prestigious school. As a result, some have already gone to jail, and some are hiring attorneys

It’s just not fair.

Many students spend lots of time studying to get accepted into college, and people who pay money to get ahead of the line deserve to be punished accordingly.  They have to set an example for those who attempt to do something like this.

The system is not perfect and there will be people who will get away with doing something like this, but it is not fair. It is not fair to that person who studies hard and is qualified to get into a good school, while someone with money gets ahead of the line, and is not qualified.

Life is not fair and we have to roll with the punches and do the best that we can with what we have. I believe that with knowledge, hard work and determination there is nothing we can’t achieve.

Money and technology are changing the world.

The financial landscape is changing not only in the United States but in many parts of the world. We need to adjust because the way things are today will not be the way things will be tomorrow. There is currently a student loan debt crises in our country and I don’t want my family to become a victim of that situation.

Technology and the Internet have changed our lives forever, and we need to have situational awareness of what is happening around us. We will be left behind if we don’t. Robots and artificial intelligence will take away many jobs from future graduates, and I believe that there will be more competition for fewer jobs.

Going to high school but getting ready for college.

Recently son took some college assessment tests with one of his best friends, and they both did well. They are both honor students and will take college courses while attending high school. Student Loan Debt Statistics are incentive enough to study hard and try to get a scholarship.

My college experience was different

In my case, I dropped out of high school for personal reasons and joined the U.S. Army. My goal from the start was to complete the GED test while in the military and luck would have it that I would go back to college about two years after I got out. Student loan debt at that time never ever crossed my mind.

College was never in my plans, and even if I did want to go, my parents did not have the money so it was all up to me to make it happen.

Being a Veteran was an advantage.

Life has a way of working out and as a veteran the GI Bill paid for everything while I was in college. I was not a genius, in fact my son is a better student than I ever was, however the life lessons I learned along the way have gotten me almost everything I ever wanted in life.

Sure I could have used more money, and would have loved to have a new car but I had nothing to complain about. My life consisted of loving parents; having served my country was a positive life experience, and because of that I was able to get a good education.

I have a wonderful family, am very healthy and look forward to a great life ahead for my son. The only challenge that lies ahead for me is to figure out how to generate enough money to pay for my son’s college education; however I’m working on it.

Complaining never helps.

I have no reason to complain, and my son is my prime focus and concern. He just started high schools and I have 4 years until he starts college. During that time I intend establish an online business that I believe will foot the bill.

My son does not deserve to experience the pain of student loan debt; therefore we will come up with a solution to avoid that debt. Rising college tuition costs are making it difficult to get an education without going into debt. That my friend is the true definition of student loan debt.

That purpose keeps me motivated and I will do whatever it takes to get there without college debt. I do not want my son getting in over his head before he starts living his adult life.

We are on a mission.

If you are in a similar situation, I invite you to join us on our journey and see where we end up. Even though we have four years to reach our goal, time goes by fast and we have a lot of work ahead of us. The time to save for college is now and not later. As we move forward, join us and by all mean share your journey because we can learn from each other.

Have a great day, and you’ll hear from me soon.
